After show there was coursing so super fun for dogs.
Thanks to all BKB people for the best organisation like always.

On Friday morning we went to Bingen on the Rhine. We arrived about 17 and after a walk with dogs we had a nice dinner with friends from Germany. We lay down early to rest after a long journey and get up well rested the next day. In the morning Bingen greeted us with rain and our basenji were not satisfied, but after reaching the place of the exhibition and pitching the tent, the rain stopped and the weather was getting better and better every minute. First, males started, among them Goldi's dad, Sasan (SULLA Liwang, owned by Burudika kennel) who did a great job winning the Club Winner tittle.

Finally, it was time for the intermediate class girls and Goldi. The judge, Paula Steele from England (kennel Akmar), thought a long time, but finally pointed to Goldi in the first place, thanks to which she started her German Championship and it was already a success for me. It turned out that this is not the end of our successes. In comparison of bitches, Goldi beat female from class: open, champions and veterans and became Best Bitch in Breed and received the Club Winner tittle !!! and finally, in comparison with her dad, she won the entire exhibition and got BISS !!!
We did not expect such a great result in our wildest expectations. This is a huge success, especially from a breed specialist and a breeder.

Now Goldi is only 19 months old and she has 4 CACIB from 4 countries !!!

It was the second time that we participated in this great fun. This time, Goldi had an additional difficulty in the form of a muzzle, which is required in official racings, but she did great. She took 1st place. More photos in gallery ;)

On Saturday I was showing "Nuba(Pluszak)" ID MIAMEE SWIETEE OF Burudika in intermediate class and "Goldi" GOLDLAY WARRIOR OF Burudika in open class. Both girls won their classes and gained the next CACs for the Polish Champion title.

On Sunday I had to chance to handle young rottweiler "Droopy" DROOPY von Hause Rottik, who gained very promising note and he was Best Puppy in Breed. Next dog handled by me was my favourite Vizsla DASZA Wspaniały Przyjaciel. Dasza in great style won her class, gained CWC, she was Best Adult Bitch, got CACIB and finally she was BOS. Also she started her way to the International Champion Title.

We went to Slovakia in great company Standard Poodle and Kerry Blue Terrier but only for 2 exhibition days. On the first day, Goldi was not appreciated by the judge. On the second day, there was a great judge from Hungary, György Tesics, who was judging very carefully.

GOLDLAY WARRIOR OF Burudika rocked, she was excellent I, CWC, CACIB, BEST OF BREED and additionally Qualification for the prestigious Crufts show in 2019 was granted on this day.

Super result was also brought by Frida Kerry Blue Terrier AVERIA Melynas Dziaugsmas handled by me, because the first day was excellent I, CWC and Res. CACIB and began the way to the Champion of Slovakia.

One weekend and two international shows. On Saturday, we were at an exhibition in Austria, where Goldi was excellent I, got CAC and res. CACIB with judge Marjia Talvitie from Finland. With this result she started an adult Austrian Championship.

The next day was an international show in Warsaw and the judge from Italy Maria Ceccarelli. In a strong competitions, Goldi was the second best adult bitch and with excellent note she won I, CWC and res. CACIB.

On the first free day of the long May free week we went on coursing to the town of Rybnica near Jelenia Góra. This is the competition in which dogs chase the bait (here rabbit skin). The bait is stretched on a metal cord, marking the race track and pulling when the dogs start.

The weather was beautifull, it was sunny, but not too hot. It was the first event of this kind for us and for Goldi. We didn't know if she would like it. There were a lot of greyhounds for which they were official competitions and 9 basenji (7 from the Czech Republic and 2 from Poland). In the Czech Republic, this sport discipline is already very developed among basenji. Here in Poland, there were show runs but thanks to the courtesy of the Czech judges our basenji were also judged. In the first race Goldi was on the list as 9, so she ran without a pair. It went great. She overcame the entire 700 m track without losing the lure and shortening the path and placed in 4th place. In the next start she ran with an experienced Czech dog. The first half went very well, but at some point both dogs lost their lure and only the Czech dog quickly tracked him back. Goldi fiercely sought the rabbit skin and she stopped when the assistant show to her the bait. She was finally happy. After such a start her final place was 5th place. As for the first meeting with such a form of activity, we think it was a very successful result, and above all we are happy that Goldi like it and we will definitely go on coursings as much as possible.
